Hi there! My name is Grace, and my Dad, Paul, started Custom Woven Blankets in 2018. He's one of the most thoughtful people I know, and especially shines in the "gift giving" department. That's how CWB started, actually.

Our journey into the world of woven blankets started in November 2018 in Florida, when we decided to create some unique holiday gifts for two special veterans. 

We felt that these worthy warriors deserved more than the traditional shaving kit or new socks which they typically received for Christmas. So we came up with the idea of creating unique, personalized, woven blankets for them instead. But not just any blanket - we wanted to create high quality family heirlooms that recognized their military history and featured their branch of service emblem, with their name, rank, date & place of service woven into it. 

We did just that, and we presented these gifts to them at their annual Christmas party a few weeks later. They absolutely loved them...and an idea was born.
