Our journey into the world of woven blankets started in November 2018 here in Daytona Beach, Florida, when we decided to create some unique holiday gifts for two special Veterans.
We felt that these worthy warriors deserved more than the traditional shaving kit or new socks for Christmas, and so we came up with the idea of creating unique woven blankets that featured their branch of service emblem, with their name, rank, date & place of service woven into it.
They loved their blankets, and we just knew we had to make these for veterans across the country. Unfortunately, we were not aware at the time that these US Military emblems were trademarked, and before we could offer them commercially, we needed to get permission from the various branches of service. That process is now underway, and while we wait for that to (hopefully!) happen soon, we are creating other great designs and art pieces that we hope will interest our customers.
